With top Montreal chef Michele Forgione and award-winning photographer David de Stefano, I had the honour of sharing the history, traditions and foods of Montréal’s Italian community and its famed Little Italy. A hybrid of sorts, serving both as a travel guide, a history book and a cookbook, Montréalissmo combines iconic recipes, featured portraits, quirky anecdotes and best addresses ; it’s already a local best-seller and, although written in French, it made the top 10 Canadian cookbook list on Amazon. The Quebec Bookseller Association picked it as one of the 100 best books of 2016.
