This weekend is your last chance to take the Hot Chocolate Grand Tour, a tasty joint venture from Valrhona chocolates and cooking school slash social benefactor La Tablée des Chefs. In all, 20 foodie destinations will be serving up their own, exclusive hot chocolate recipe for a set price of $3, of which 50¢ will provide funds for La Tablée’s cooking programme aimed at often economically-challenged teens.
So dress warmly and ready, set, go thrill your tastebuds in the following participating establishments: Les Chocolats de Chloé, Pâtisserie Rhubarbe, Fous Desserts, La Tablette de Miss Choco, Première Moisson Mont-Royal, Première Moisson Outremont, Première Moisson Jean-Talon, Première Moisson Dix30, Point G, Juliette et Chocolat, La Fabrique Arhoma, Café Prague, Les Chocolats Geneviève Grandbois, De Farine et d’eau fraîche, Farine, Patrice Pâtissier, Talie Chocolat, Peccadille, Mama Choka, Le Petit Trianon and Les Co’Pains d’Abord sur Rachel.
The first Tour held in 2015 raised $1,150 for La Tablée, with 2,300 hot chocolates sold… and savoured!
CONTEST FLASH: Take a selfie of your hot chocolate, share it on social media with the hashtag #lgtchocolatchaud and you could win 3 kg of Valrhona chocolate. Slurp.
